Winter in the Tux Valley ...
Glittering snow crystals, fresh air and the silence of a snow-covered landscape – this is winter holiday in the Tux Valley! Due to the altitude it is common that you can relive winter as you know it of your child hood: White and with loads of snow – in defiance of all climate forecasts. With the skibus you have easy and quick access to all skiing areas. There is also a cross-country ski-track beside the hotel and not far away you will find a toboggan run.
Winter & snowshoe hiking
On the trail of nature!
Away from the slopes, enjoy the most beautiful winter hiking trails or snowshoe hikes in untouched nature, where you will get to know many new impressions of the snowy Tux mountains away from the slopes. Equipment can be rented from the hotel for a fee if required.
Skiing in the Tuxertal
Winter is white here - guaranteed. The free ski bus (stop 100m away) takes you comfortably to the surrounding ski areas. Just a stone's throw away is the Hintertuxer Glacier, which promises skiing pleasure 365 days a year.

Cross country skiing on the 'Luggi Gredler' slope
For those, seeking pure nature, 28km of cross-country tracks from Vorderlanersbach to Madseit are prepared daily. (14km classical and 14km skating track).
Cross-country skiing instruction is available from the ski schools, while equipment can be hired or bought at all the sports stores and sport equipment hire centres.
